Christmas Reflections

By: Emily J Pica (EmJ).

“And you yourself must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and the seriousness of your teaching. Teach the truth so that your teaching will not be criticized. Then those who oppose us will be ashamed and have nothing bad to say about us.” ~Titus 2:7-8(NLT).

I don’t know where to begin to write this post, so I’m just going to go for it, please be patient with me. As you all well know, it is the Christmas season and it’s busy and difficult for everyone at times, especially lately with everything going on in the world right now; but we also must remember that we’re not of this world, we’re passing through, but while we are still here, we have to do our best to be an example to others, during this time, we’re called to be His light in the world, so here’s our chance to be the best we can be for others and remind them that Christmas is not about gifts or anything like that, but the true reason for the season is Jesus and how He lived and still loves us all. He was the ultimate sacrifice and sometimes, okay a lot of the time, we forget about that, it’s time to get back to the basics and do and act as Jesus did, all I ask is that we be kind to others in spite of what you’re facing or dealing with at this time. I don’t know about you, but this year has been a real tough year for me, since March of this year, sickness and injury has been hitting my family left and right and it’s not been easy, not to mention, my significant other has been really sick and so has my beloved grandmother, she is okay for the time being and my significant other is too, it is a time for miracles and let’s be honest, we could all use about a dozen miracles at this time, I know that God is working on our behalf behind the scenes to change things for us, hopefully for the better not worse, but we have to believe that God always has our best interest at heart, and He will work out things for the better not worse, even though we don’t understand what His plan may be, but we need to trust that it will be, in His perfect timing and it will always be good.

Moving on, this is also a time to reflect on where you’ve been, and then focus on where you want to go, but it all will be according to God’s will of course, at this present moment, I’m not exactly sure what the future looks like for me, but I do have faith that it will be for the best. This is just one of those times where I need too be still and too trust that God will show me the way to go and hope for the best but expect the worst, because we really don’t know what will happen from one day to the next currently, because one day we could be here and the next, we could not be here; so this teaches us to be present and to live in the moment and enjoy it also no matter how difficult it may be, because as we all know, life is short, so we just need to learn how to make the best of it during this time with your family and loved ones, appreciate them while you still have them, put those differences aside and be reconciled to one another before it’s too late. Be at peace and let God do the rest; because He’s the best person for the job. Amen? Amen and Praise The Lord! Thank you for listening and God Bless!

Peace, Be Still

Hi all, it’s been quite a while since I’ve updated this blog page, my life just got busy, I’m back now though, I’ve missed you all so much! Anyway, let’s begin, shall we? “The Lord Himself will fight for you. Just stay calm (Be Still). ~Exodus 14:14(NLT).

“Be still and know that I am God! I will be honored (exalted) among and by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world. Amen and Amen!” ~Psalm 46:10(NLT).

So, with these two verses I think that God might be trying to tell me to rest, don’t stress, don’t worry because it’s all in God’s control; Let it all go and He will take care of it, He will always provide for us with all that we could ever need or want, but don’t deserve; Let go and let Him handle it; Surrender all of your control to Him and in due time, He will reveal it all to me/us: Wait on Him and give it lots of time. This is what I mean by that previous statement: In Isaiah 60:22 The Lord says this; “When the time is right, I The Lord will make it happen.” I think what He means by this, is the fact that there’s a time for everything, weeping, joy, happiness, etc. And then when we least expect it, He will make whatever it is that we’ve been asking for, praying for, hoping for, waiting for, etc. He, The Lord will make it happen. He’s never late and He’s never early, He’s always right on time. Moving on, this is when I put my own thoughts toward these statements, When I read these verses in the Bible, it makes me think of all that we’re facing, and struggling with at the present moment, is only temporary and when The Lord thinks that the time is right, He will honor us and reward us after these storms we’re walking through, which by the way, leads me to the next Bible verse: “Peace, Be Still.” Which is also the title of this blog coincidently enough, funny how that worked out, right? This is in Mark 4:39 in the New Living Translation version of the Bible. This mentions about the storms that we are each going through during this very unsettling and uncertain time in our lives, whether it be a divorce, a sick child, family member, work situations, financial situations, etc. God is telling us to be still and trust in Him, because He’s still with us and knows exactly what we are going through in the present moment. He knows our past, present, and future, so take heart, because He’s got you and you’re not alone in this, trust me, we are all in this together and it is because of what we’re going through at the moment, we will come out the other side stronger than ever before, amen? Amen and Praise The Lord for that! We are growing weary and tired of this corrupt and crooked world, but I’m here to tell you that God is the ultimate resting place, maybe it is God telling us that we need to shut our computers off, news, electronic devices, whatever distractions that you are facing, turn them all off and go to Him in prayer and see what He has to tell you, you might be pleasantly surprised with the outcome that He gives you and who knows, He may bless you with a whole new outlook on life, He did for me, and I’m amazed at how much my life has changed since then, it was a crazy whirlwind actually, but I’m glad it happened because I’m doing things now that I never would have thought was even possible for me, for example, I wrote and published a book about my life and shared it with the world, if it wasn’t for God, then my book wouldn’t be shared with a bunch of people around the world, and I’m usually a very private person who doesn’t like to open up to total and complete strangers about the way I was and who I am now, Praise God for that! I just wanted my book to let other people know that they are not alone in this, God is here with them through it all and so am I, you are not alone and yes you are enough and loved by a loving and merciful God every single day of your life, I know amazing right? He is and it is. Amazing things can happen when you step out of your comfort zone and into all that God made you to be. Amen? Amen and Praise The Lord!

Now, I’m sure that you are wondering what the name of the book that I published, is: well, here it is: “Unlucky in Love.” By: Emily Pica and you can find it on amazon.com and bookbaby.com! I hope you enjoy it! It’s a short book, but it gets my point across anyway, right? Now you are probably asking yourself if there will be another book written and published by me, well the answer is yes! It is called, “Pep Talks With Papa G!” It’s about my dad and the advice and the talks that my sister and I had while growing up, interesting right? And let’s just say that the second book is a work in progress, and not full sure when it will be finished and published, hopefully at some point it will be complete in the near future. Here’s to hoping right? and yes, I have an idea about a third book too, but we’re taking this thing one step at a time, because there’s a lot that I have to do between now and then, you ask why I say that? Well, I’m saying that because yes, now I’m engaged, planning a wedding, trying to find a house, and work full-time, so let’s be honest, I’m not sure when or how it will get all done, but with God and in due time, it will all be taken care of. It’s quite stressful working full-time, planning a wedding, and finding a house all at the same time, as a matter of fact, it can feel like it’s getting to be too much for me to handle at times, that’s for sure, so, prayers are appreciated during this transitional time in my life.

Although my fiancée and I have taken some baby steps forward with the whole wedding planning process, we still have so much to do to get it all to the finish line, we cannot make any final decisions until we know for sure that we have a priest to marry us, because our own pastor cannot do it, due to certain rules of the charismatic episcopal church, which is a bummer but hopefully we’ll have some progress with that in the near future. The wedding date is June 22, 2024, so time is of the essence here, and things need to get done so that we can actually have this wedding and get it to completion with lots of prayer, help, and hard work from all of our beloved family and friends, so if any of you know anyone who would be willing to help marry us, then please let me know, because I’m all ears. Any and all help would be appreciated at this time. You can contact me on Facebook or Instagram, because I’m on each of those social media pages frequently. My Facebook name is Emily Pica and My Instagram name is: theeincredibleemj. Thank you for listening to me while I ramble on about my life and the stresses and anxieties that come with it as well. Also, my fiancée and his family needs as much prayer as they can get right now due to various different health issues and illnesses as well. We all need a little extra prayer right now, thank you and God Bless! It’s a struggle, but God is with us and He’ll help us through it all. It all seems impossible right now because of several different circumstances, but God always says that, “with man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible!” So, I’m having faith and believing in that and we’ll see where things go from here. I guess what I’m trying to say here is this: When times are tough, God is tougher and He will help us through it all and when it’s all finally said and done, we will be rewarded and honored by God and through God as well. So, keep the faith, stay positive, stay strong, stand firm in your faith, keep moving forward, and stay focused on God and meditate on God and His word through it all. Amen? Amen and Praise The Lord! Thank you and God Bless!

Bitterness

“Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God.  Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting so many.” ~Hebrews 12:15 (NLT).

-Strengthen the weak or discouraged believers.

-Guard them and yourself against the temptation to turn away from following Jesus because of temporary suffering.

-Remain committed to The Lord.

As Christians, we need to learn how to look out for the lost, and even the saved in Christ, to make sure that they don’t fail to receive all the grace of God; No matter how difficult it may be for us enduring difficult times in their lives at the moment.  We also need to make sure that even with all the bitterness that we may have, don’t let it poison or discourage you from following Jesus, it’s not worth it, because if you let that happen, it will discourage and corrupt others from following Jesus and His ways.

I’m not saying that it will always be easy to follow The Lord, because at times, it will become incredibly challenging, but I can promise you that it will be worth all of your suffering in the end; He will reward you with so much more than you could imagine.  He will restore to you tenfold, for all the pain and suffering you had to go through to get to this point in your breakthrough for your life, that Jesus had already planned for you long ago, to make it finally happen.  When you finally come to that aspect of your life, is then that you’ll realize why God made you go through, what you had to go through, to get to His reward once and for all.  Once He brings you to that point, you’ll thank Him and praise Him for all the rest of the days of your life.

He blessed us with this life for a reason, and He’s about to show you the meaning, purpose, and reason for your life, in all of the weeks and months to come before it gets to be too little too late and He comes back for us, because once He comes back for us, that’s it, we’re done, and there’s no time left to do all the things that we wanted to do in our own lives for The Lord.  It’s pretty sad to me, that God blessed us with so much potential for Him, and we never got to use any of it for the glory of The Lord.  He just loves us all so much and He wants the best for us.

Our lives may not always be perfect, but I can promise you that they will be worth it.  We have perfect moments we are able to share with each other, and we have to remember that we are doing it all for the praise and glory of The Lord.  If this global pandemic has taught me anything about life, then please let it be this; It is not the material things that matter, but the moments, and the time, and the memories that we share with one another.  He just wants us to remember that, before we forget all about it, when our lives eventually get back to normal after all of this pain, hurt, sadness, suffering, and loss are behind us.  One day in the far future this will be nothing, but a distant memory, that we’ll all just forget this ever happened in the first place.  2020 has been far from a great year, that’s for sure, but God and I are here to tell you that it will probably get much worse, before it gets any better, but take heart for The Lord has overcome the world, all of this is only temporary, but I can assure you all that there will be far more better times ahead, than behind.  The past is the past, keep it there, and focus on Jesus and the future that He has planned for all of us ahead.

No matter how bad your past may seem, don’t dwell on it, because it’s not worth it, once you come back to The Lord and repent of your sins, He will make you and all things new, for the old has died away and the new creation is here and forthcoming.  That sounds great right? Well, it is! Let’s start with those new lives in Christ right now, there’s no time like the present to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! Anyway, please repeat after me, “Lord, I’m not perfect, I’m a sinner, and only human, please come into my heart and my life, make me brand new, and forgive me of all of my sins.  I love You, Lord, and I need You in my life every single day from now on, Amen and Amen!” Feel better now? I know that I do, I love you all and God Bless!

Having Faith

“And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to Him must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him.” ~Hebrews 11:6.

We must always be confident that God rewards those who diligently seek Him.

Diligently- Being attentive to The Lord and persistent with Him in your prayers. Being faithful to Him in times of trouble. Trust in Him, when you are feeling unsure about certain things, good or bad in your life at the present time. Look to Him about your uncertain future. Ask God to do the impossible in your life. He still performs miracles every single day, and some of us are too blind to see Him at work in our own lives. Don’t be so dense that you can’t see what’s happening in your own life, household, church, exercise groups, schools, coffee shops, etc.

With Covid-19 still being at large these days, The Lord is telling us to wake up and come to Him, and have faith in Him before He comes back the second time, and before it’s too late, before we are all gone forever. Don’t be so foolish and open up your eyes to The Lord and let Him go to work in your own lives and see how much you change and the world changes around you. It will happen so quickly and in the blink of an eye. Open up your Bibles and see what The Lord has planned for you. You’ll be pleasantly surprised, trust me on that. Do a Bible study in your own home with your kids and you’ll be amazed at how quickly the things in your household, and in your own kids lives will change as well. God will reward those who are sincerely and genuinely seeking Him. Believe it or not, God still exists to us, even in the midst of this whole Covid-19 pandemic. Yes, it stinks right now, but it is only temporary and it will be gone as quickly as it came, if we would just turn to The Lord during this time, He will make it disappear as soon as it Arrived. Only God could have put a stop to this world to make us realize that we need God, especially right now during this crazy pandemic. Yes, He is that powerful, and yes, He still loves us. I know, where is God in spite of all this? Well, He’s exactly in the same place that He was before this happened; He’s sitting on the throne in His Father’s house ready and waiting for us to come to Him and to be saved by Him and through Him before it will be too late. Do you get it now? I really do hope so, but if not, then I’ll pray for you to realize it, and come to Him before it’s too late.

I’ve been a faithful follower of Christ for ten years now and every single day, He is still showing me how great He is, by doing the impossible in my life. If it wasn’t for Him, then I wouldn’t be here right now, sharing my story with you all. Jesus loves you and He’s not mad at you, He just wants the absolute best for you, like I do. We all need to rise up and realize how great He truly is for you. He has changed my life significantly and I’m so thankful to Him for that. Don’t you want that for your life too? If you do then please repeat this after me, “Lord, I’m a sinner, and I’m so sorry for the way that I made my life, please forgive me and come into my life and change me for the better, I have come to the end of myself and I’m done fighting, please, Lord, take this complicated life of mine and make it brand new, I’m ready for all that You have for me, I love You, and I’m thankful for You, Amen and Amen.” Feel better now? Congrats you did it, now may God Bless You and Your New Life in Him and For Him! God Bless All! Just a quick sidenote here: I would encourage you all to read the book of Revelation in the Bible, it’s all there. Once you read it, you will understand much better why this is happening and what’s going to take place next. God Bless All!

Virtuous Woman

“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.  When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness.” ~Proverbs 31: 25-26.

-She works willingly with her hands, and it symbolizes her hands being extended and pointing upward with prayer.

-She is confident in the God to whom she prays, the effective woman knows that she has great eternal significance.

-She welcomes her future with The Lord with open arms.  She is strong and fearless.

-When she talks, it is with wisdom that comes from God.  She instructs others with kindness.

-Yes, you are enough.  It may not seem like it right now, but in God’s eyes you are.

I’m the one to talk, because no matter what I do or did, I never seemed to feel like I was ever enough for anything or anyone.  I was always wanting to do more than I could actually do.  This is my problem to deal with and I’m trying to work on it, believe me I am.  It has not been an easy task by any stretch of the imagination, just trust me on that.  I still have a lot to learn, and I’m far from completion, that’s for sure.  I don’t really want to talk about my ex fiancé on here, but I will for a brief moment.  Whenever I was with him, he made me feel like I was never going to be enough for him, because he was never happy with himself and because he wasn’t happy with himself, then how could I even be happy with him? I’m not happy with myself either, but I am working on that too.

Believe me when I say this, “You need to have a better understanding of yourself, before you can jump in and do anything else.”  Once you have a better understanding of yourself, that is when things will start to fall in place for you.  It will not always be easy, but it will be worth it all in the end.  Don’t settle for a man who doesn’t love, accept, and respect you for you.  You deserve better, we all do actually.  You deserve the world, but first, you need to love you for you, before anything else can take place.  You deserve a man that will treat you like the queen that you are, and if he doesn’t, then it’s time for you to let him go, and be willing to wait for the right man or the right woman that God specifically chose for you.  Once you meet and get to know that person, you will finally understand why it didn’t work out with anybody else.  He or she is worth the wait, because God knows you better than you know yourself and He is the perfect one you can trust your life with, because He’s the only one who knows your future and what’s the best for you.

He loves you and He will never leave you or forsake you either.  He is always with you and will go before you so that He can make your paths straight and then fill your darkness with His wonderful light.  I don’t regret the experience that I had with my ex though, because it was a learning experience to teach me everything that I don’t want in a future husband, just so that I can find the right one instead.  So, if he’s reading this, which I doubt that he is, but anyway, thank you for teaching me how to be a better person and a better future wife for my better future husband.  I know that it’s not fun being single at this time, but there’s a good reason for it, and once you figure out the reason why, then you’ll be thankful for it.  While you are still single, enjoy it, because once you find the right person, your life will get busy quickly, and once you get busy, you’ll  look back on this time and you’ll be thankful for it, and in a way, you’ll wish you had it back, because there was no stress and no worries, you could just do whatever you wanted, and not have to worry about what others thought or being tied down to something or someone who hurt you, left you with nothing, and wasn’t worth your time.

What I’m trying to say here is this: “whatever season that you are going through right now, please enjoy it and take it as a learning experience and a stepping stone to something or someone better, because you’ll never get this time back again and you’ll be absolutely amazed at how drastically and quickly it can change.  In the famous words of Brene’ Brown, “Let go of who and or what you think that your supposed to be, and fully embrace who you actually are.”  Life is very precious, so enjoy it as much as possible, because in the blink of an eye it could change and be gone.  You’ll either be blessed by this change, or you’ll be scarred for life because of this change.  Either way, the choice is yours, so make it a good one please.  It is a very difficult learning process, but worth it in the end.  This is just one of many stories taking place in my life, so I hope you enjoy it!  Also, on a side note, please be kind to others because neither one of us can possibly know what private battles other people face on a daily basis.  Some are better than others and some can be worse than others too.  Either way, please be kind to others because that is the way that The Lord has always wanted it.  We are all equal in God’s eyes, so please don’t change it.  Thank you and God Bless!

Determined

“You have stayed with Me in My time of trial.  And just as My Father has granted Me His Kingdom, I now grant you the right to eat and drink at My table in My Kingdom.  And you will sit on the thrones, judging with Me the twelve tribes of Israel.” ~Luke 22:28-30.

When you are going through any type of trial or trouble, it helps when you stay with God through it all, because in the end, it will all work out exactly the way that it was meant to work out.  God knows it all before we even say a word.  With this, God wants us to pray to Him, and trust Him through it all; it will be really tough at first, but when you eventually do trust Him through it all, talk to Him through it all, and remain faithful to Him through it all, He will have helped you and carried you through it all, without you even knowing or realizing what He was doing with you and for you through it all.

I’m a good example for this because back in July, I fell and fractured my foot pretty badly, I could barely walk and was in pretty rough shape at that time, it was a difficult time for me as you can all imagine, but with my determination and God’s faithfulness during this time, all I could do was pray and to keep trusting in Him completely.  So, I did and now my foot is completely healed, so with this, I give all the praise and the glory to The Lord.  He knew that He was going to heal me the entire time and He did, but He was waiting for me to be ready and available for Him to heal me in the first place.  It is absolutely amazing at how He can make all these things happen in a quick amount of time.  He healed me in a matter of about six weeks, can you imagine at all what He can do for you in a matter of about six years? Isn’t God just amazing all? He certainly is! Do you see what a little determination and faithfulness can do? Awesome right? Amen and Always Praise The Lord!

When we stay determined and faithful to The Lord and His law, amazing things can happen in the blink of an eye, it’s crazy right? With The Lord, it’s not crazy at all, because when you are a Christ-Follower, there’s a certain point in everybody’s relationship with The Lord, that your cup will runneth over with abundant blessings, one right after the other.

I believe at some point soon in my life and relationship with Christ, He will start pouring out blessings and more blessings over my life.  A big breakthrough is coming soon, I know it, expect it, and feel it about to happen; I’m excited about it and looking forward to it too! I can’t wait, “Come, Lord, pour out Your blessings upon my life! I’m ready and waiting for it all, Lord! I love you, Lord, and thank you, Lord, in Jesus’ Holy and Precious name I pray, Amen!”

Are you as determined and faithful as much as I am? If not, then you need to talk to The Lord and ask Him to right any and all of the wrongs in your own lives before it’s too late and before He comes back for us.  The time to get right with God is now, what are you waiting for? He’s ready and waiting for you.  However, the question now is, are you ready and waiting for Him too? I certainly hope so, the sooner that you come to Him, the better off your life will be, trust me, but trust Him first, it will all be worth it in the end.  Amen? Amen, God Bless you all and I love you all.  Thank you.

The Lord is With Me

“But The Lord was with Joseph in the prison and showed him His faithful love.  And The Lord made Joseph a favorite with the prison warden.  Before long, the warden put Joseph in charge of all the other prisoners and over everything that happened in that prison.  The warden worried no more, because Joseph took care of them.  The Lord was with him and caused everything he did to succeed.” ~Genesis 39:21-23.

Today’s blog was inspired by God first, then through this daily devotional called, “Faithful in Captivity”, from “Our Daily Bread.”  It’s about Joseph being sent to prison because he was being falsely accused by someone for his strong faith in God.  Someone asked him to do something that he refused to do because of his faith and his relationship with God.  Taking part in this act, would have him fall into sin and ruin the loyalty and faithfulness that he has with God.  I guess what I’m trying to say here is this: when we are faced with struggles and fears, it drives away from The Lord and The Lord does not want any of that from us.  During these difficult times we really need to learn how to be faithful to not only God, but to ourselves as well.  It is at times like this when we need to let go of all of our worries and fears and to just have faith, that all things will work out according to God’s plans.

This is certainly not an easy task for any of us, especially me.  I struggle with these things on a daily basis, it is horrible, that’s for sure.  I have become a prisoner to these things for my whole life and I can’t do any of this anymore, it’s making my life and my relationship with God and others, suffer.  I need to prevent these things from happening and becoming worse before it’s too late.  These negative things do not come from God, they come from the evil one.  This has a big hold on my life and I can’t seem to figure out a way to get out of this “funk” that I’m in.  At this moment, I find myself getting tired of this hold that’s on me.  I need and want to get out of this situation as soon as I possibly can, because it’s honestly ruining my life and I hate it.  I’m just stuck and not sure where to go from here.

God is with me through it all, this I know for the Bible tells me so.  He is always with us through it all, even though it can be a big challenge sometimes, especially lately.  I’m pretty sure that I am not the only one who is struggling with this, it is hard sometimes.  Do you understand what I mean? I think that I have a lot to think about and praying to do.  That is for certain.  When The Lord is with us through it all, He will have favor upon us and He will help us to succeed.  But we first have to have faith, trust, and a good relationship with The Lord, so that these things can succeed, and of course it all has to be in The Lord’s will for us before anything else can happen.  I know that without The Lord being in my life, these things would be a lot more difficult to face and deal with when it comes to not being able to talk to Him and to have a good relationship with Him either.  He is the ultimate healer and only He can help you with and through it all.  He is the only one that can change you, so please let Him come into your life and change you for the better before it’s too late.

He is my strength and my redeemer and I’d be completely lost without Him.  We will always have Jesus, but we will not always have our family, friends, and loved ones with us and supporting us through it all.  Our lives are only temporary, but The Lord is eternal and never changes and when you pray and have a relationship with The Lord, that is when He will lead you to your destiny of eternal life spent with Him as well as all of our loved ones that have gone before us and will also come after us.  I yearn for that day to come, but we need to save the lost first, before The Lord calls us home.  That is our mission and purpose for this world while we are still here.

Here are five guidelines that Joseph is teaching us through Genesis 39:21; 1.) We need to receive all of God’s promises with childlike faith; 2.) Make the best out of bad situations; 3.) Stand with integrity in trials and temptations; 4.) Walk in humility before God and man; 5.) See everything in your life from God’s perspective.

Has God given you a vision for your life? If He has then here is what you need to do to fulfill His vision and purpose for your life: 1.) Ponder God’s vision for a while.  Do not share it right away, but ask God for His timing to share it and fulfill it with others.  2.) Expect God’s favor in the sight of others.  God is always able to make a way even when it seems impossible and there’s no way.

3.) Remain faithful to God in all that you say and do.  Do not compromise, especially when His vision is slow in coming.  4.) Believe that God is sufficient.  He has given you the certain gift that you need to realize what His actual purpose is through you.  5.) Trust in God’s sovereign providence.  He causes all things to work for your good as you remain faithful to His calling and purpose for you.  Amen? Let me conclude this blog entry by telling you this: When you throw aside all of your struggles and holds down at Jesus’ feet, leave them there, and let Him take care of it all, then you’ll truly be living such a blessed life.  It may not always be an easy journey, but in the end, it will be worth it.  Just trust me on that.  When you step out in faith, you never know where it might lead you, but don’t worry, because whatever it is that He is leading you to, it will be great and worth it.  Just obey and trust in Him and He will honor you and reward you for all that you have done for Him according to His will at the end of your life.  I don’t know about you, but I do know that when I go home to be with The Lord, I want Him to say to me, “Well- done my good and faithful servant, I love you, and welcome home.” Amen? Amen and always praise The Lord!  God Bless!

A Fortress in Times of Trouble

“The Lord rescues the godly; He is their fortress in Times of trouble.  The Lord helps them, rescuing them from the wicked.  He saves them, and they find shelter in Him.” ~Psalm 37: 39-40.

  • When we are lost, God saves us.
  • When we are in trouble, God helps us.
  • He rescues us from the evil and wicked ways of this world.
  • He is our shelter, when we feel weak and scared.
  • He guides and directs us back to Him when we became lost and are hurting.
  • He takes care of the godly, and then He let’s the wicked get the punishment that they deserve for not listening to or following His ways and not just their own ways.
  • We have a choice to make: 1.) God, the way, truth, and life or 2.) Satan, the evil one who belongs in Hades for His selfishness, pridefulness, love of money, worldly desires, deceitfulness, disobedience, etc.

The choice is yours, there’s Jesus, the way, the truth, and the life, or there’s Satan, the evil one.  It’s simple, Heaven where Jesus is or Hades where Satan is, with lots and lots of suffering and very hot for the rest of your eternal life.  Heaven where there’s peace, joy, beauty, light, and happiness for the rest of your eternal life.  It literally takes two seconds to say, “Yes, I choose Jesus, forgive me for I have sinned against you in my own thoughts, words, deeds, and heart’s desires, I don’t want to suffer anymore, I love you Jesus and I choose you, thank you, Lord, I love you in Jesus holy and precious name I pray, Amen!”  Please choose wisely.  I know where I’m going  when I die,

Do you? If not then, I will pray that you will figure it out real quick, sooner rather than later, before It’s too late with no time left.

We could be here one day and gone the next, you just never know what will happen, just please make the right decision before It’s too late.  I fully deserve to go to Hades, but because I am a true follower and true believer of The Lord, Jesus Christ, and It’s only because of His grace and mercy that when I die, I will go to Heaven with The Lord, Jesus Christ, to spend the rest of my eternal life with Him and hopefully with all of my loved ones too, who have gone before me and will come after me too.

This brings me to the next topic of discussion,  my Fiance and I have been lead into a new direction with a new church, so that we can start fresh and see what God will help us do there.  My fiance was given the opportunity to be the official new worship leader at this church, we will both be leaders there, He will be leading worship and I will be helping him with leading worship as well.  This was quite a tough decision to make for us because we were at a small church that we absolutely loved and were doing well there too, but my fiance wanted to go where God is leading him and it is not at our old church that we currently go to every week.  But starting next week, we will be at this new church leading worship from now on.  So we have prayed on this new beginning for not only our relationship with each other, but with our relationship with The Lord as well, and God has told us that the time is now, so we have to move on, so I just ask you all, to please pray for each one of us in this new journey in our relationship.  In addition to this, I would also like to ask for prayer for our old church for new beginnings, growth, revival, and financial help, because they are hurting and struggling so badly now, so please just pray for them and for God’s will to take place in that church.  Thank you, God Bless, and we love you all.

Before I close this blog entry, I would like to leave you with the names and addresses of these two amazing churches: 1.) Christ The King Church located at 4 Railroad Ave, suite #309 Wakefield, Mass. 01880.  Here’s the website as well: http://www.ctknorthshore.org and 2.) Highrock Church in Malden, Mass.  150 Cross Street, Malden, Massachusetts 02148 and Here’s their website: http://www.highrockmalden.org.

Let me conclude this blog entry by leaving you with this quote to think about, reflect on, and pray about before It’s too late.  Here it is: “Enjoy serving The Lord, and He will give you what you want.  Depend on The Lord; Trust in Him, and He will take care of you.” ~Psalm 37:4-5.  This was written by: Max Lucado in his book that is called: ” Let the Journey Begin; Finding God’s Best for your life.” Amen? Yes, Amen, and always Praise The Lord! God Bless!

Marriage & Relationships

“This is how the holy women of old made themselves beautiful.  They trusted God and accepted the authority of their husbands.” ~1 Peter 3:5.

First, we must trust in God always.  Second, we must accept the authority of our husbands or significant others.  Third, we must Honor God and honor our husbands or significant others.  When we honor God, He will honor our obedience.  This is how you will be able to stay beautiful in God.  Fourth, we have to be honest with ourselves and our husbands or significant others.  You need to be able to set your husband or your significant others, straight without having any fear of what they might say or do.  Fifth, you need to be strong in your faith and also with The Lord.  And finally sixth, stand firm and let nothing or no one move you.  Amen?

“In the same way, you husbands must give honor to your wives.  Treat your wife with understanding as you live together.  She may be weaker than you are, but she is your equal partner in God’s gift of new life.  Treat her as you should so your prayers will not be hindered.” ~1 Peter 3:7.

You must Honor God and your wife.  When we honor God, He will honor our obedience.  Husbands, you need to be more patient and understanding of your wife and her vulnerability with all the love, support, affection, attention, help, and encouragement that she’ll need at certain times in her life.  You must make sure that God is always in the center of your relationships, because if otherwise, then nothing will work out and you’ll have a difficult life that you don’t deserve, because you don’t have The Lord in your life.  When you have The Lord in your life, and at the center of everything, then you’ll have a much easier life than you would, if you didn’t have a personal relationship with Christ.  You all will need to be evenly yoked, because when you aren’t, you’ll suffer and have a very rough life, and that’s not what God wants for your life either, that’s for sure.  So anyway, all of this leads back to trusting in God and having faith and believing that it will all work out according to His plan in the end.  If it’s not the end, then keep moving forward.  God’s got you, so don’t worry about anything.  He will take care of it all, just let Him into your life first, and then He will take care of the rest.  We just have to remember that this will all happen in God’s perfect timing, and not your own selfish timing.  In conclusion to all of this, you husbands treat your wives well, and you wives treat your husbands well also, and right then is when all of your personal needs and prayers will be answered really well and not hindered either.  Amen? Yes, amen and always Praise The Lord! God Bless!

Strength

“God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.  So we will not fear when eathquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea.  ~Psalm 46:1-2.  “Be still and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation.  I will be honored throughout the world.  The Lord of Heaven’s Armies is here among us; The God of Israel is our fortress.” ~Psalm 46:10-11.

God is our strength when we feel weak and can’t go on much longer.  He’s always willing to help us, when we are in all different kinds of trouble.  I’m here to tell you to not be fearful when earthly disasters come because God’s got you, he always does and always will, no matter what. First, you need to let go and then He will take full control on all of it.

You need to always pray for strength and not patience, because when you pray for patience, then He will keep testing you and testing you, until you no longer can handle it anymore.  He will push you almost over the edge, until you come back to Him and you need to always rely on Him for your strength, and that’s just because you are unable to do anything on your own strength.  God will always be your strength, no matter what.  Without Him, we can do nothing.  Amen? Yes, amen and always praise The Lord!

For example, being in retail during the Christmas season, is not an easy task by any means, far from it actually.  This is the exact time, when and where, I need God the most, because I can’t do the Christmas season in retail, all by myself, no sir.  It is because of The Lord’s strength, that I can keep going, not my own.  All of the praise and glory go to The Lord, not myself or anybody else.  It is Him and only Him.  This is the most stressful and frustrating time of the year for all of us, not just for being in retail either.

When all is said and done, we need to remember that God was the only one that can carry us through it all.  At the end of the day, I just want to do a job well-done for The Lord, Amen? Amen and Always Praise The Lord!

~In Christ,

Emily
